Magnus 60
TJIRC

Introducing the "Magnus" from TJIRC.
Magnus 60
Designed as a versatile all-round slope glider, the Magnus 60 is equally at home in general sport flying, high-energy slope sessions, and as an excellent introduction to Dynamic Soaring (DS).
The practical design features a two-piece wing and removable one-piece tailplane, making transportation and storage straightforward. Construction is available in a lightweight glass/carbon layup or an all-carbon version for pilots seeking maximum strength and performance.
Key features include:
• Glass/carbon or full-carbon construction
• Robust carbon wing joiner
• Integrated wing ballast system
• Simple and reliable setup requiring just 4 wing servos and 1 elevator servo
• Easy transport with detachable flying surfaces
At just 950g flying weight in the glass/carbon version, the Magnus 60 delivers crisp, responsive handling while remaining stable and predictable. It performs exceptionally well in light lift and lower wind conditions, yet has the capability to carry ballast when conditions strengthen.
One of the Magnus 60’s standout characteristics is its forgiving nature. It has no bad habits, making it easy to fly and confidence-inspiring across a wide range of pilot skill levels. The design also offers a generous centre of gravity range, allowing pilots to fine-tune the handling characteristics to suit their own flying style without compromising stability.
Whether you’re looking for a practical everyday slope model, a capable sport aerobat, or a platform to begin exploring Dynamic Soaring, the Magnus 60 combines performance, versatility, and ease of use in a compact and transport-friendly package.
Designed to be enjoyable for newcomers while offering the performance and precision experienced slope pilots expect.
